Of course we like to spend our days in Myrtle Beach on the water but what about after the sun goes down? Sure it would be nice if we could always be out on the water tearing up the Intercoastal on jet ski's but what is there to do once the stars come out? Well we have put together some of our top things to experience in Myrtle Beach for all you night owls that are looking for some quality night time entertainment (besides watching the drunk antics of others at the bar).

1. Carolina Improv

Ready to give your funny bone a work out? Well if it's laughs your looking for then this is the place for you. It's only $10 to get in and they are located at the Uptown Theater in the Myrtle Beach Mall. They really engage the audience even playing off them for some of the best improve comedy around. With shows like "Whose Beach is it Anyway?" to "ChickDictionary" you will laughing the night away. Leave the kids with a sitter though as the shows are 18 and up only. Beer and wine are served on the premises along with soda and water.

2. Pirates Voyage

You really can't beat dinner and a show together and this one comes complete with Pirates so yeah pretty epic. I mean if they had pirates fighting ninjas your brain would explode, so there are just pirates... well, and mermaids... so a little something for the whole family. You arrive early to meet the cast and crew who are very friendly. Dinner is included in the admission price which ranges from $27 to $48. We recommend trying the barbecue pork. The whole thing runs about 85 minutes and is suitable for all ages and still breaks down to the same cost as taking the family out to dinner and a movie, and really, wouldn't you rather see pirates then Michael Bay's "Transformer 15"?

3. The Palace Theater

The Palace Theatre is located at the heart of Myrtle Beach in the award winning "Broadway at the Beach" Entertainment Complex.
